Nas performed for Dave Chappelle at Radio City Music Hall as part of Chappelle’s NYC comedy tour.

After Kanye West performed for Dave Chappelle last week at Radio City Music Hall as part of Chappelle’s NYC comedy tour, the comedian has now also had the NY legend, Nasir Jones, perform at his show last night. And damn, did he put on a performance. Check the video of Nasty Nas performing “NY State Of Mind” with an entire live orchestra right behind him after the jump!
According to Billbaord, not only did Nas perform “NY State Of Mind” but he also graced the audience with some other Illmatic favorites like “Life’s A Bitch” and “The World Is Yours.”
Then “Human Nature” starts to play in honor of the late great Michael Jackson and as Nasir thanked MJ for helping him clear the sample for “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” the song transitioned into the Illmatic classic.
Follwing his Illmatic tribute, Nas went into some of his most popular hits like “Hate Me Now” and “One Mic” truly giving the fans in the audience a night to remember.
The rest of Chappelle’s shows will feature the likes of Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, and Janelle Monae.
Check out Nas’ performance of “NY State Of Mind” below!
