please, make it end...

I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger. I blame it on the weather. The snow is so festive in December, but in March it's a real buzz kill. In that spirit here is a rather lack luster blog entry just so I'll have more than one pitiful posting for February. I'll have two.

In between snow and ice storms I've been keeping busy with work. Just parts of planned work that will come together later...nothing finished to show right now.

A gang of china doll zombies for fall.

And, some more Vinegar Dolls and Catrinas coming soon. But that's all you get to see right now.
Here is a salad (from my friend Arta) that has been a sunny spot this long winter.
Peeled and sliced oranges over greens: frisee, spinach, or even shaved fennel are good.
Top with sliced scallions and salty oil cured olives. Drizzle with a little olive oil and finish with cracked pepper. The tart citrus takes the place of vinegar.

It makes this:
Taste like this!

Brrrrr That looks way too cold for me!!! Stay warm and keep working - looking forward to seeing more goodies in your shop. I think my ghosts need some friends.

That salad sounds delightful, definitely giving it a try.

Cheers!

The weather here in Maryland has sucked eggs too.
Loved seeing your works in progress and can't wait to see them when they are finished!
Stay warm!

So sorry about the weather....it has been a rough winter for many. I feel awful about complaining about our 3 days of minus weather here in sunny El Paso, TX back the beginning of Feb.!! This city discovered that it's just not emergency ready...many lost electricity and water for 3 weeks...I think there's a portion of southern NM that's still having water issues!!

The salad looks delish and just might try that tonight...need to do something new.

Well, stay warm and stay sane.

This extensive winter has slowed all of us! Can't wait to see your finished projects.

I want some of that magical salad you have. That is quite the transformation!

You haven't lost your touch with the camera lens, Will! Gorgeous photos all. .but I have to tell you. .there is something a little unsettling about the photo of the head with the dark eyes, followed immediately with the one of the otherwise luscious looking salad. .are you SURE those are olives?
